The Core Game

 

Q: What is Heroes of Ollundra?

 

A: Heroes of Ollundra is a tactical miniatures game where players will face off against each other with individual or small bands of miniatures.

 

Q: What type of gameplay does the game have?

 

A: Heroes of Ollundra can be played as both a PVP (player verses player) or Coop (cooperative) game with players either working together or against each other depending on the scenario.

 

Q: What types of Scenarios does the game have?

 

A: The core rules of Heroes of Ollundra will translate into a variety of game modes which will include scenarios such as battle royale, team vs team, heroes versers monster hordes, heroes vs large monsters such as dragons, Dungeon delving at many more.

 

Q: How do players customise their characters?

 

A: Every character comes with a character card, this specifies the characters proficiencies, core skills, special skills and stats. Players can add additional skills and equipment by paying GP (gold pieces) when they put their band together. In addition loot salavaged or stolen during games can be traded in after the game to buy more skills and equipment.

 

Q: How does combat work?

 

A: Each character has a selection of numbers on the card indicating how good they are in combat. When a character attacks their attack characteristic indicates how many dice they have in their dice pool. They roll their dice and the target number for passes is modified by the skills of the attacker or the defender.

 

Q: Does the game require grided tiles to work?

 

A: No, the game has a freeform movement system that allows players to use grided or non grided environments. Non grided gameplay will use rulers or tape measures to measure movements and weapon ranges.
